$50 /db/mo
Self-serve. Fully.
The product and the docs — you deploy, you connect, it diagnoses. No onboarding calls, no setup service, no PoC hand-holding at this price. It doesn't need any: connect a read-only agent, wait 90 seconds.
- Detection paths every 90 seconds, 24/7
- Root cause + diagnostic evidence + resolution steps on every finding
- All five SQL systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server), mixed freely
- Read-only on-prem agent — data never leaves your network
Enterprise & service packages
Let's talk
When you want humans too.
Large fleets, volume terms, assisted setup and PoC, integration help, or a service package where database experts work the diagnoses with your team. Messages go straight to the founder.

What diagnosis capacity actually costs
| Option | Monthly cost | Coverage | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| dbexpertAI, 5 databases | $200 (first one's free) | 24/7, every 90 seconds | Root cause + evidence + resolution steps, all five SQL systems |
| Junior DBA | $15,000–25,000 (fully loaded) | Business hours, 1–2 engines | Investigation capacity; still needs tooling |
| Emergency consultant | $300–500/hour when it's already on fire | After the incident starts | A post-mortem and an invoice |
The point isn't to replace your DBA — it's that root-cause investigation is the worst use of their hours. dbexpertAI does the firefighting so the humans do architecture.
Pricing FAQ
Fair questions
What does "self-serve" mean exactly?
It means the $50/month price buys the product, not services: you deploy the agent yourself following the docs, connect your own databases, and read your own diagnoses. There's no onboarding call, no setup assistance, and no PoC support at this tier — the product is deliberately simple enough not to need them. If you want hands-on help, that's what the enterprise and service packages are for.
What counts as one database?
One connected database instance (one connection string the agent monitors diagnostically). A cluster's primary and its replicas count individually only if you connect them individually — most customers start with the primary.
Is the free database a trial?
No. Your first connected database is free for life: same detection paths, same 90-second cadence, same full diagnoses as paid databases, forever. It converts you by being useful, not by expiring.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing is monthly per database; disconnect a database and it stops billing at the end of the cycle. Your free-for-life database stays free either way.
What about MongoDB, Redis, or vector databases?
Not yet — dbexpertAI currently covers the five SQL systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, and SQL Server. More engines are on the roadmap; if yours is the reason you can't sign up, tell us via the contact page and we'll factor that into prioritization honestly.
When should I get in touch instead of self-serving?
Three cases: you run a large fleet and want volume terms; you want setup, PoC support, or integration help; or you want a service package where our experts work your diagnoses with you. All three start with a short conversation on the contact page.
Start with the free one.
Connect your gnarliest database first — the one that pages people. If dbexpertAI can't tell you something true and useful about it in 90 seconds, it cost you nothing.
